| Benson Farmstead B&B is a beautifully restored 1914 farmhouse set in the Skagit Valley near the tulip fields, LaConner and Chuckanut Drive. Grandchildren of Norwegian farming pioneers, Jerry and Sharon Benson restored the farmhouse in 1981 and then opened it as a B&B in 1991 after raising their four sons. They have decorated with family antiques, old quilts and Scandinavian curios creating a very warm and cozy atmosphere. Jerry and Sharon often serve homemade desserts and coffee in the living room on weekend evenings about 9:00 for a social hour. A hearty, full breakfast is served in the dining room or in the sun room or kitchen with small groups. |
