    Take the Maine Turnpike (I-95) to Exit 25 (formerly exit 3) for Kennebunk-Kennebunkport. Once you've left the tollbooth, turn left onto Route 35. You will be on Rt. 35 for 5 1/2 miles in total. While on Rt. 35, you will encounter a small rotary; go half way around to stay on 35. You will also go through the center of Kennebunk, where you will need to turn left and then immediately bear right, again staying on Rt. 35 - watch for signs. At the junction of routes 35 and 9 (there will be a traffic light at the intersection and a Sunoco station on your left), turn left. Go over a small bridge. Take your first right (at the monument) onto Ocean Avenue. Take your fifth left off of Ocean Avenue, and onto Green Street. The inn is on the second block, on the right.

      Eggs Benedict and Maine Maple French Toast are just two of the enticing entrée choices you can expect on any given morning. Your gourmet breakfast begins with our special blend of Downeast Coffee, specialty organic teas, and our signature fresh orange juice blend. This will soon be followed with a seasonal fruit course, featuring, for example, a lavendar honey orange pot de creme and bruléed slices of citrus fruits or mini apple cranberry crisp with homemade apple butter on toasted brioche. Next, fresh from the oven, come blueberry muffins, cranberry orange scones, butterscotch coffee cake or maybe 72 layer cream cheese biscuits. Finally you will be offered a choice of two prepared to order entrées.

    • Deposit amount required (For a multiple night stay, a deposit of half of the total charges is due at the time of booking. For a one night stay, the full amount is due as a deposit.)
    • Check in time is 3:00-7:00 pm and Check out time is 11:00 am
    • Cancellations:
      Because of our size, cancellations affect us significantly. For any cancellation or change of dates, we must receive 14 days notice prior to your confirmed arrival for a refund of your deposit, less a $25 fee per room. If any full or partial cancellation or change of dates is made within 14 days, regardless of the reason, you are financially responsible for the entire reservation, unless we can re-book your room. However, you are always welcome to send a friend or family member in your place.

    Captain Fairfield, Kennebunkport's Boutique Bed and Breakfast InnThe Library has a hand-carved pencil post king bed, gas fireplace, flat panel TV/DVD, CD player, luxurious private bath with double whirlpool tub, and a private porch.
    Breakwater, possibly our most luxurious room, boasts an oversize king bed and a suede chaise by a sleek gas fireplace.  Soft modern meets 1813 Federal Style.All but two of our guest rooms have beautiful gas fireplaces like this one in Lois Walker.
    Sweet Liberty stylishly pairs a grand upholstered queen bed and plush couch with a cream toile wallpaper and wide pine floors. The private bath features a luxurious tiled rainfall shower.Enjoying the fall foliage begins right out the front door, as the Inn is surrounded by centuries-old Elms and Maples, and other beautifully restored historic homes.
    The grounds of the Captain Fairfield Inn include manicured gardens, a lovely brick patio with comfortable wrought iron seating, and several private areas where you can relax and enjoy the sea air.Breakfast at the Captain Fairfield Inn is the most celebrated time of day.
