Holiday Chalet, A Victorian Hotel

The Holiday Chalet is a beautifully restored 19th century mansion near the heart of downtown Denver, and has offered warmth and comfort to travelers for over 51 years. The Holiday Chalet is as comfortable as you remember Grandma's house to be. We hope you will enjoy your stay and come again! Comfort is the key word at the Holiday Chalet. Service and convenience are gracefully maintained without intruding on the grace and charm of the past. Victorian family heirlooms, framed prints, lace curtains, period wallpapers, and stained glass dominate the cream and rose colored public rooms. The nine air-conditioned guest rooms are full mini-suites. Each room has an equipped and operational kitchen, as well as a private bath with classic toiletries. Two of the "king-size" suites offer sunrooms and one has a fireplace. Sleeper sofas are available in two of our rooms. All the rooms will accommodate families. Guests are invited to bring the dog, provided the family pet is small, well-mannered and never left unattended. Fresh flowers and telephones are in-room additions. For the business traveler, we have data ports in all phones, fax machines available and photocopying services available. Also, we have color TVs in all rooms with VCRs and a library of videos. In the morning, enjoy a full breakfast of assorted cereals, fruits, homemade bread, quiches, waffles, juice and coffee in the Holiday Chalet's new breakfast nook. After breakfast, hop on a Gray Line bus or the Mountain Tour Sightseeing bus right at the front door. As an added bonus, each guest is provided with Margot's travel guide of helpful listings everything from Auto Service locations to directions to the Denver Zoo.
