| The Hussey House was built for Uriel Hussey in 1795, and is ideally located between the main beach area and he center of town. Having been carefully restored in old Nantucket charm, this spacious home has retained its original wide floorboards, many lovely antiques, and a fireplace in every room. Large, comfortable, airy rooms are offered with double, twin or triple beds. Each room has a private bath with either shower or a tub and shower combination. Family accommodations are available. A comfortabl e sitting room and spacious grounds with garden are enjoyed by our guests. Bicycle racks and off-street parking are also provided for your convenience. Located in the heart of the historical district, the Hussey House is just a three minute walk from the steamer landing, Main Street, and the closest beach. There are bicycle rental shops, many good restaurants and site of historical interest close at hand. |
