| THE CABIN |
| The cabin was on the property when host Bill's great grandfather bought it shortly after his discharge from the Confederate Army. After moves to two widely separated locations, the cabin was returned "home" and restored in 1996 about 1,000 yards from its original location. |

The outward appearance of the cabin is deceiving. Inside, its larger than it looks from the outside and it has all the amentities of modern living while keeping the aura of Texas frontier living. Enjoy the coziness of a fireplace in the winter, the confort of central air conditioning in the summer, and the fragrance of solid cedar construction all year. A TV and VCR, refrigerator, clock radio, telephone, and ceiling fan complete the modern amentities. There is a new bath including a shower stall which is made of the same stone as the fireplace and floor. Bath linens and toliet paper are hung on wooden pegs, just as you have to use pegs for clothes in the living area. Enjoy all this from a queen bed on the main floor or a double bed in the loft. There also is a futon on the main floor for another double bed. |

| THE BALCONY ROOM |
| The Balcony Room and its adjoining accomodations is the only room upstairs in the Inn. A small balcony entered through the French Doors on the room over a riot of color from the bluebonnets and other wild flowers blanketing the front of the Inn. The bird's eye maple bed, dresser, and dressing table in this room are from the home of host Jeannine's maternal grandparents, the Henry Bartons of Marlin, Texas. The chedar chest is from host Bill's mother, Mrs. Anita Hueske Neinast of Somerville, Texas. T he velvet chair is variously referred to as a "buckle" or "bustle" bench. It was designed to facilitate putting on shoes by females. |

| THE OLD FOLK'S ROOM |
| This is the smallest of the rooms with antique "sleigh" beds from Germany. It is good for families or friends that are traveling together. |
|
|
| THE MASTER BEDROOM |
| This is the largest room in the house. It comes with antique furnishings and a view the same as that from the porch of the cabin. |

|
| Guests enjoy breakfast on a formal table setting under a German crystal chandelier. Each day the crystal stem ware is different. One day, the jeweled crystal from Hungary is used, the next day its time to clear Czech crystal, followed by some from Germany or the United States. |
