| Good Eating... |
| Bring a hearty appetite and enjoy breakfast made by Barb. Coffee and muffins are delivered in a basket outside your room door around 7 am to tide over early risers until breakfast. Breakfast is served around 8:30-9:00 am in the warm and cozy sunlit dining area around the large oak table looking out at the colorful garden. This is a good spot to see all the brightly colored birds dotting the landscape and at the feeders. Breakfast ranges from one of these scrumptious meals: fluffy fresh peach pancakes and homemade sausages; raspberry french toast piled with whip cream and raspberries; eggs and bacon; Barb's caramel sweet rolls; blueberry pancakes; fresh fruit and always lots of rich coffee. |

| Meet the Innkeepers... |
|
|
| Barb and Dennis Cowan |
| Dennis and Barb share eight grown children which has made their home something of an informal Bed and Breakfast for over forty years. They also have seven grandchildren with special additions on the way. Dennis owns a grading and excavating business in the Twin Cities and Barb is retired from Youth and Education Ministry. Dennis, with his two yellow Labs Cody and Abbey, is an avid duck hunter. Barb enjoys decorating, sewing, and making greeting cards. Together they enjoy flower gardening, downhill skiing, fishing, and just being outdoors on bike or foot. They also love going to auctions to find treasures for both LoonSong and for the antique store they own in Northfield, Minnesota. |
