| The Log Cabin was built in 1982 by your hosts, George and Liz Delfeld, for a weekend Get-A-Way from Houston. They are on site to assist you with any of your needs, as their home is close to the cabin and breakfast is served in their home. Your hosts moved into The Main House (as it is called) in January of 1990, when they decided to give up Houston and make Madisonville their permanant home. Don't ask how long their home took to build - they could go on for hours on that subjuct. If you are interested, do ask to see the home - they still love to show it off! |

| Sitting on your front porch swing, you will be viewing Lake #1 (A friend of ours has insisted on numbering them since we have 4). THIS lake, we swim in. There is a bridge and a platform for jumping (diving is not suggested), a deck for sun bathing and a paddle boat just for fun. Parents must be around to supervise young children, and life jackets are recommended. We have several sizes available, or you may feel free to bring your own. Lake #1 is also well stocked with hybrid bass and bluegill for your fishing enjoyment. You may catch and release, or keep a few for dinner. Just remember to bring your poles and bait, as we have very limited available. |
