This lovely, Montana bed and breakfast was featured in "Country Magazine" and guests who motor through Montana call the inn an "Oasis" between Glacier National Park and Yellowstone National Park. The Timbers B & B is located near Flathead Lake and the National Bison Range, on the Flathead Indian Reservation, where guests have the opportunity to learn about Native American culture and to enjoy Indian Pow Wows and Western Rodeos.

The Timbers Bed & Breakfast is 2.5 miles Southeast of Ronan, Montana. The spectacular view of the Mission Mountains will lure guests onto the many hiking, horseback riding and cross-country ski trails directly accessible from the grounds.

The property includes stables and corrals for guest horses, a pond, a barbecue and picnic area, and plenty of room for trailered boats.

The Timbers, built in 1990 by owners Leonard and Doris McCravey, is a blend of modern comfort and sophisticated country charm.

In the main part of the house, the spacious common room is glassed in for an equally spectacular view of the mountains from inside. It faces directly into a glacier,(McDonald Peak), that has snow in it year round. You'll love its large fireplace, library, and homey atmosphere.

The barnwood kitchen and eating area is where guests are served their choice of a continental or full, hearty country breakfast.

Guests enjoy a fully air-conditioned suite of rooms which includes a large master bedroom, king-size bed, private bath, sitting room with queen size sofa-bed, satellite TV and telephone in room. Guests can relax on the wrap around deck while enjoying the quiet beauty this area offers.

This elegant suite is off by itself on the lower level of the house and includes a private entrance. It has a spectacular view of the mountains and is furnished in decorator,South-Western style. The spacious bedroom has a comfortable king-size bed with headboard that was hand carved in Mexico. Plump feather comforters and loads of pillows add to the inviting atmosphere of the room. Amenities include robes, candy and sherry. The privacy of the suite makes it perfect for honeymooners, but it also is great for family vacations as it can accommodate four to five people.

DEPOSIT: the amount of one nights stay is required to hold the reservation and must be received within five days of booking, or we reserve the right to cancel the reservation.

CANCELLATION POLICY: If notice of cancellation is received more than 21 days prior to scheduled arrival, your deposit will be refunded minus a $20.00 cancellation fee. If notice is received less than 21 days in advance, deposit minus $20.00 fee will be refunded only if we are able to rebook the rooms.

CHECK IN: 4:00-7:00p.m. Check-out, 11:00a.m. Children welcome. Smoking is restricted to outside only. Pets, (pet house and chain link kennel available). Pets in residence; Sasha, Sophie and "Billy Bob"(2 dogs and a cat).

TRANSPORTATION: The closest commercial airport is 52 miles in MISSOULA,MT, or 72 miles in KALISPELL,MT. From SPOKANE,WA, it is only a 2.5 hour scenic drive to the Timbers. A much lower airfare and car rental can usually be had by flying into SPOKANE.

DIRECTIONS: FROM MISSOULA, MT: take 93 North to mile marker 46. Go right on Timberlane Road 2 miles. FROM KALISPELL, MT: take 93 South. Go through Ronan and take first left after McDonalds (Timberlane Road). Go two miles. FROM SPOKANE, WA: Take I-90 to St.Regis. Take RT.135 to RT.200. Go right on RT. 200 to RT.212. Go left and stay on 212 to US-93. Take a left on US-93 to mile marker 46,(Timberlane Road.) Go right on Timberlane Road 2 miles.

Leonard and Doris McCravey are eager to meet you. Leonard, a Texas Native, was associated with professional rodeo for 27 years riding bucking horses. Doris, born and raised on the "Main Line" of Philadelphia, made her way West in 1976 where she and Leonard met. They both worked with the "Winston Rodeo Series" in public relations. They chose the Mission Valley in Northwest Montana as their home because of its spectacular scenery and unspoiled beauty. Both share a love of nature and wildlife.
