Nested in a valley below the majestic Beartooth range of Rocky Mountains, the quaint historic town of Red Lodge provides an ideal setting for this charming three-story Queen Anne home. Flanked by giant evergreens and colorful flowerbeds, the Inn is reminiscent of a bygone era, complete with white picket fence, gingerbread trim and a large front porch with comfy chairs and a view of the surrounding mountains.

The lovely spacious living room has comfortable overstuffed sofas and a wonderful sitting area surrounded by windows, where one can enjoy a tranquil moment or a good book.
The dining room's focal point is a wonderful antique cookstove, which is used for serving the afternoon refreshments. The room is appointed with white wicker tables and shelves displaying beautiful antique china collected by the owners. A delicious home baked breakfast is served here each morning between 8 and 10am. In the afternoon the aroma of cookies fresh from the oven draw the guests here to enjoy Elven's baking talents.

A cozy TV parlor off the dining room is perfect for watching one of the many video movies available or reading one of the books in the well stocked bookshelf. There are also games and cards to while away an evening. A basket of local menus is provided for your perusal as well as brochures for local activities. We are located just a block from main street, ideal for walking to the shops and restaurants.

Decorated in a mauve and forest floral motif, our largest room features a commanding view of the majectic Beartooth mountains. It is furnished with a king four poster rice bed, antique dressing table, six drawer colonial dresser, and floral upholstered chairs. The private bath is equipped with a rose colored six foot long claw foot tub/shower combination for a wonderfully relaxing soak. A rollaway bed is stored in the commodius closet for an extra guest.

A large room, also with a mountain view, in a colonial Virginia decor of blue and white. It is furnished with a queen four poster bed, six drawer cherrywood chest, white wicker chairs and blue and white china accents. A matching private bath with shower, plus a rollaway in large closet for an extra guest.

This smaller room faces the picturesque old mine works and is decorated in Country English. A pewter colored brass and iron Queen bed and mirrored armoire highlight this delightfully quiet and romantic guest room. Decorated in shades of teal, rose and salmon, it has a private bath with shower.

A cozy and charming Country French theme accent this third floor gabled room with dormer. Decorated in pastel garden floral in light yellow and blue accents. This room has a white-washed floor and is furnished with a white brass and iron queen bed, white-washed pine armoire and nightstand. Shares a large semi-private bath with the Norfolk room. Has two views of the Beartooth mountains.

Our only twin room, ideal for singles or children. Americana country appointments. Decorated in blue gingham with ivy accents. This room has natural fir wood flooring and cotton rugs. Furnished with antique pineapple post beds, country lamps, pine dresser and nightstand. Shares a large semi-private bath with the Normandy. Also has two mountain views.

Charming, two story cottage located just behind the Inn. Decorated in classic country style, it has all the amenities of home, including a fully equipped kitchen, adjacent laundry room, color TV, gas fireplace stove and authentic country antiques. The bath has the original claw foot tub with a shower. Upstairs are two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with two twins, both with natural fir floors, country motif and pine furnishings. A queen sleeper in the living room adds extra sleeping room. Relax on the private front porch in lodge-pole pine chairs while reading the books provided for your enjoyment.


ACTIVITIES AND ATTRACTIONS
Red Lodge is a nature lovers paradise. Located just 60 miles from Yellowstone Park, it offers fishing, hiking, golfing, skiing, both downhill and cross-country, biking, whitewater rafting and horseback riding. There is unlimited scenic beauty in the surrounding countryside and lots of activities for all. In the summer there is a music festival, championship rodeos, Festival of Nations, Mountain Man Rendevous and various other festivities. Winter there is the Christmas stroll, Winter Carnival, sleddin g and snowmobiling. Close by is the Big Horn Battlefield, Buffalo Bill Historical Center, Beartooth Scenic Highway and the Lewis & Clark Trail.
